ONGOING LOCAL AIR UPDATES FOR DEC 1-8 & Dec 8-16 TRIPS:
Local Flight times:
- Depart Quito 9am Arrive San Cristobal 11:30am Nov 30th or Dec 7th (so we can do one day in San Cristobal before the trip otherwise the dates would be Dec 1 or Dec 8)
- Depart San Cristobal 13:20 Arrive Quito 17:45 Dec 8th or Dec 15th
Documents:
- Tickets will be sent electronically to everyone no later than 3 weeks before departure.
International Flight Planning:
- You need to allow 3 hrs before booking a flight from Galapagos home or elsewhere.
- So do not book anything earlier than 8:45-9pm
Transfers:
- Transfers to/from the airport will be arranged by SD/EV
- All transfers will be made by SAFE, reliable, approved and vetted suppliers
- Once all international flights have been rec'd by SD.com from members traveling on this trip, summarized and then sent to EV, EV will be able to make final transfer arrangements.
- Once we know how many people are traveling when, we can calculate the price of transfers for each member since the price varies based upon the number of people traveling together.
Other:
- Tickets will be booked by our local air consolidator.
- If dates of travel to San Cristobal vary from the Monday before a charter/cruise alternate flights need to be arranged other than the standard departures already blocked for EV clients in the air system.
- Flights booked on alternate dates are subject to a $25-$30 booking/ticketing fee.
- Final billing for the local flights will be provided to everyone as soon as available.
- Final payment to SD.com can be made once final billing has been done.
