Hello!  My apologies for the delay in sending this note, but I flew home Sunday night to my visiting family waiting for me. Next morning I headed out with them on a promised 200-mile road trip, so I have had my own version of "March madness" and am just catching up with things.

 

I want to THANK EVERYONE for a terrific weekend!  You are simply amazing people, that's all I can say. I already knew that our seasoned folks like

Dave, Jerry, Maria, Jeff, Lisa, Jay, Jose and Tomas would be there for us.... because they ALWAY step up to the plate, and with grace. But then newbie types show up.... folks like Scott, Kar, Neville, Liz, and Helen... and they join in with such ease!  It makes me realize how very special our group is: it's not about age or gender or status in life or number of dives, It's just simply about people intuitively understanding that this is a good group and worthy of keeping going.

 

To to seasoned folks who took the newbies under their wing: thank you for doing what you always do. To the newbies who took a chance on us: thank you for being you! And Kamala: thank you for being our fearless leader!

Hello all! I have just gotten home after a great show in NJ! (Drove back but it took awhile as we stopped to call on some dive shops as we made our way home!)

 

The show was a huge success for our group THANKS TO ALL THE AMAZING volunteers who gave their time, talent, efforts and other gifts to help explain how great SingleDivers.com is and to help BTS in exchange for our booth. We could not be at the show without this outpouring of help. Our two permanent BTS staff members DaveL and Sylvia aka cat fish have once again MADE IT HAPPEN!  The show loves them and they give so selflessly of their time, heart, and energy!

 

A number of new volunteers joined us this year and did an amazing job including Kar, Nevelle, Scott, Helen, and Liz! We hope you had some fun along with giving us your time and help! And we hope you know more about our club and are as excited to join one of our trips as we are to have you join us!

 

Helping the show sponsor AND staffing the SingleDivers.com booth takes an inordinate amount of time and help to do it right. The additional help needed came from our long standing helpers including Jerry and Lisa, Maria, Jose, Tomas, Jeff and DrJay. We simply could not do the show without you all!

 

And no show would be complete without our infamous Happy Hour on Saturday night which drew in nearly 30 people by the end of the night and featured Pup the Scuba Cowboy along with most of our helpers and many other members who came to say hello and join in our fun. We even had a guest visit from the owner of SEAC Dive Gear, Brandon the new SD sales guy (instrumental in getting the new ANO Video Light we gave away at the show along with the other goodies) and our friends from many companies in the diving industry!

 

During the show we saw Richard, Beth, Suzie, Regis, Stan, Dirk and Morgan, Mike, Bob, Amy, Sue, and many more SDer's that are now slipping my mind! It was TRULY a homecoming for me and fun despite working so hard to make the show a success!
