Where should we go for NYE 2017 if anywhere?

Last year we looked at the following options...all are good for this coming year as well but I wan to lock in EARLY!!!

1. Saba & St Kitts liveabaord
2. Turks and Caicos liveaboard
3. Tobago - landbased
4. Cozumel- Daily Flights Landbased
5. San Sal Bahamas - Have to do a charter flight to get there but we can set it up
6. Panama - best for small groups of approx 10 people... so limited in size

What would Panama be like?

Very small trip of say 10 people and should be nice. Several members have loved it. I have not been yet but intrigued.

I would be interested in San Sal Bahamas. Also, where would you plan to stay in Tobago? I would love to go back there, but since it's a bit far might be a longer trip than I could take at that time of year...

My choices in order are:

1. Saba & St Kitts liveaboard

2. Turks and Caicos liveaboard :cloud9:

3. San Sal Bahamas (I have not yet dived there but love me some liveaboard diving!) :)

4. Tobago (another I have never experienced ) :teeth:

5. Cozumel

Not interested in Panama :blush2:

Any of those would be good to me.  Hmm other places - can't think of any other relatively easy to get to good in winter trips.

Yes winter travel sucks...ESPECIALLY winter travel that is around the holidays because all flights are full. This gives NO wiggle room or margin for error.

Also this year is weird. We normally try to do the day after xmas and then go a week.  This year xmas is a Sunday and so is Jan 1. And NYE is Sat. So people would fly on Sat Party the day of arrival and then have to take the first week of Jan off to make a Sat to Sat liveaboard work. Most people can not do this.

So I am not sure what dates will work

Dec 26 Mon to Jan 2 but this means landbased.

or for liveaboard it becomes...

Dec 31 - Jan 7
