Fabulous....my flight arrives Mele early on the 4th so may need to pay for night of the 3rd also as my butt will definitely be dragging and I will be seeking a pillow ASAP. I still have not acquired the art of sleeping in route! Will there be transfers from airport to hotel in place? I would like to collect my bags, go directly to hotel and find a pillow. No waiting in lobby for a later check in. After a few hours I'll be ready to explore if it's safe, party, meet the group...

Thanks Kamala for all your hard work on this. I will be arriving at the MLE airport on Friday, 2/24 at 2:55 PM. A room for nights of 2/24 & 2/25 will be appreciated. No need for a room after getting off the boat 😊

Check in is 2pm so I can add an extra day so you can check in immediately! The transfers are via boat from the airport to the dock then car to the hotel. What time do you arrive?

 

REMEMBER to try and get onto local time as quickly as you can so you don't feel like crap for the diving days!

I may have...been up since 1:30 am now it's 5:30 pm...back to work @1:00am (busy time for us bakers)...

I booked it so I am there for a day and a bit...

 

I am the least stressed about luggage, as I will be the ONLY one on the trip with carry on only...that's right...I am one of those "rent the dive stuff guys". I will bring all the clothes I could possibly wear and all my extra fun stuff and have it on wheels...

 

Kamala - I am sure the dive rental equipment is top notch like the yacht & please confirm this is 100% ok...thanks...

 

 

Yes the dive equipment is top notch. Will you want a room as well for 1 day or 1 day and a bit? Beats the alternative of sleeping in the lobby or on the street!

 I arrive Male Mar 3rd at 7:50am, so I'll need a room for two nights:  Mar 3rd and Mar 4th, and will check out Mar 5 for the liveaboard adventure.  

You may have already mentioned this in an earlier post, but can I assume we'll be leaving directly from the liveaboard to the airport  on Mar 15th?  At least in my case I hope so, since I depart at 9:15 am that day for Dubai.

 I hope I am not being a pita (pain in the ass) but:

1. i arrive 9:30 on 3.4.17 - thought I would travel/see stuff in Male for the day... I thought I would try to get a local water taxi to tour me around...take in a nice meal & then go to hotel for check in/meet up

2. I may have just brain blocked it, but what is the name of the hotel?

3. I am travelling lighter than most, plan on only one carry on as I am equipmentless so airport to tour Male to hotel to boat will be easier for me.

4. I am acclimating in Dubai for a day &  a piece,so I think I will be on "island time" quickly...
