to our cool little space on the net! We have over 10,000 members world wide so probably have a member near you. But how do you find them? Obviously everyone can't join our AMAZING TRIPS HERE and/or you need to dive a bit closer to home.
So here is how we can help!
1. If you post a shout out / intro HERE then others will not only welcome you but you will soon be able to connect with divers near you.
2. Since forums are no longer the only way to find people who share your same love of diving LOCALLY we will also feature you in our newsletter which goes out monthly to all our members. ( We must ask that you do not post personal contact info in your public posts or intro post, but it is ok to post it in your profile.) For the safety of all our members including you and to keep spam at manageable
levels we do not allow email addresses or contact info to be posted in the posts that members make. We have a nominal annual fee if you wish to join/upgrade from our free basic member level to our premier level so you can see personal info and privately contact other premium members but you can also wait until you see that people have posted replies in the open forum responding to your post before you decide to upgrade. So please post an intro HERE and let us know if you want to be featured in our newsletter under "Members Wanting To Find Buddies Locally" section. And register a cool screen name if you have not done so already like WreckWench, ScubaPunk, fingrabber, etc. Please do not use your full name as your screen name although first names are allowed i.e DiverEd or DiverSandra etc.
3. You can like our FaceBook page HERE and we can promote a "Local Buddy Roundup" in your area!
4. You can even help to host a local Happy Hour in your area to meet other members. Just ask us how.
