Ok Cuba Trip Refugees.... what do you want to do instead of diving with the Spree? Try for another Cuba trip? Dive Key West or surrounding areas? Or just book another great SD.com trip?

 

Let's see what everyone wants to do? 

 

AND YES if you were already booked on this Cuba trip and you decide to book another exotic SD trip of a similar calibre...we will give you an extra financial incentive since you may have missed all the early booking specials otherwise.

I would be game for a Cuba trip with someone other than the Spree. I'd also be down for diving Dry Tortugas since the last time I was supposed to go there was with the Spree, and they changed the itinerary at the last minute (due to storms) to some pretty lousy diving in Key West.

At this point I'm going to Key West in October 2016 to dive, with or without anyone else. It's more fun with a group, but why let one small cancellation spoil a dive trip???

 

Even if I need to rent a car to drive to other islands to dive, why not? Life is too short to put off going diving!

 

Cuba will be there to dive in the future. However, as it gets easier to fly directly into Cuba, it's logical to expect that there will be more crowds. Just like any place else in the world.

IF we can not do Cuba there is another possibility IF people are interested....

 

We could dive the Atocha ALSO out of Key West. We only need 7 people for a full trip and it is UBER COOL!  I have done this before and its VERY UNIQUE AND OFF THE CHARTS DIFFERENT! You get to LEARN how to do the recovery of artifacts from the ocean bottom, see the Fisher Archives along with a private tour of the inner workings and museum and of course we get to LOOK FOR TREASURE!!!

 

If anyone is interested I will reach out to see about dates in Oct. Generally they offer this trip in the summer since fall can bring wind and storms BUT they operate all year as long as the weather permits.

 

So let us know if this is of interest as a substitute for the cancelled Oct Cuba Trip.

As far as the money for the October 2016 Cuba trip paid thus far, please keep it and apply it to the Cuba trip in September 2017 when the trip opens. I will have double occupancy and the least expensive room.

Bill there is NO Sept 2017 trip UNLESS I can reschedule on the other boat that also goes to Cuba. It is more money but also one day longer. I am checking to see if available and if so how much more it will be.

If no trip, is it possible for you to help us file a claim against our trip insurance to recover the fees that we will be charged to change our airline tickets?

Yes we can help in anyway we can. Since 100% of the money paid to SD.com will be refunded or applied to another trip then there is not much we can do directly in terms of issuing an invoice etc. BUT we will certainly help in anyway we can.
