How do I sign up?

We use our site's internal messaging system called a PM (private message) to notify members when a trip is open for booking. It protects your identity, it hides your contact information but it allows EVERYONE to see the same information and you can see real time what others are saying without revealing your own contact information. We encourage you to upgrade to our PREMIER MEMBERSHIP level which is only $35 a year and qualifies you for a $25 member rebate after every trip if you file for it. PLUS you can get the earliest notification that a trip is open. We require it to go on the trip so upgrading early gets you first access to limited spots!

If you are still a BASIC MEMBER we will send you an email notification that the trip is open and ready for signing up. It normally takes us a day or two to create these emails and get them out to all the basic members wanting advance notification, but we will get it out to you.


How do I upgrade my membership?

If you want to be sure of early notification here is how you upgrade your membership.

1. Make sure you are logged into the site. (You can tell if you are logged in because you see your sceen name/display name in the upper right of the forums.
2. Click on the MEMBERSHIP tab across the top of the forums under the SingleDivers.com logo and under the login area.
3. Choose premier or any of the other upgraded membership pkgs and then follow the prompts for payment. If you choose paypal you'll be upgraded immediately by the system. If you choose the SD.com payment gateway you'll be upgraded usually the next business day since its a manual process.*


*If using the SD.com payment portal you will be asked for a 'trip ID number'. Just enter 1 and it will allow you to complete the payment for $35 if choosing the premier level.

In case yall are looking for a place not far from the boat dock...I am staying at a hostel called monkey dive in khao lak... I got a private room for 15$ us. the place looks amazing and they are super nice...they also do transport to and from the airport for 1300 bhat... ( around 40$ us) ...they are a dive shop/hostel so I am looking forward to the people there too!!!! my plan is to fly to and from chicago into bangkok then hop a little flight right to phuket the same day and spend the 17th and day of 18th before we get on the boat in khao lak just relaxing, exploring, eating, beach etc.... then when we get off the boat on the 28th im going to go to phuket for a night or 2...sight see there and then fly onto either krabi/phi phi/ or chiang mai.... I am planning to fly home the 7th of march if anybody wants to stay and see the country with me I plan to book solid air this week

I do not need a group hotel on the 28th. only needed for the 16th-18th until we get on the boat on the 18th.... I am going to take the transportation right from the boat on the 28th to the ferry to get to phi phi island and spend the night of the 28th on phi phi then spend the night of the 1st on krabi, fly to chiang mai the 2nd spend the night of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, in chiang mai, fly to bangkok on the 5th spend the nights of the 5th, 6th in bangkok and fly home the 7th... would love for you all to come join my little island hopping adventures.

I put in the system that you want the boat to take you to the phi phi ferry.  They will probably accommodate if its within the range of the hotels they transfer from but it is their call and may incur a charge.  I will keep you apprised of the request.
