I just wanted to introduce myself. I am going to Roatan on the 1st and meeting another SD there so I guess I have a buddy! I live in Kansas City, MO so there is not a lot of great diving here. I did some diving in Hawaii in February and certified in Bocas del Toro (Panama) last year. I am looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hello Nancy and thank you for the introduction! Sorry I will not be joining you, Kamala and The Scuba Posse this year but it certainly is shaping up to be a grand time!
BTW here is the way it works - The Wench (our nickname for Kamala aka WreckWench) 
uses both the Rooming as well as Diving surveys you have submitted as part of your trip documents to match you with the most compatible dive buddy and same gender roommate (unless you went for the Single Occupancy S/O upgrade of course) of the group. After one trip it will all make better sense. Again, we're stoked to have you join us in Roatan!!

Hi Nancy,
Welcome to SD! I just came back from Dominica and it was a wonderful time. There's a wonderful group of people who run things here and do everything they can to make your trip as enjoyable as possible. Have a great time...I'm sure it will be great! P.S. Bring some individually packaged snacks like granola bars or nuts...great way to break the ice with your roomie!

Hahahaha! I can attest to what ScubaChick said. She shared her snacks with me in Dominica. Our timing found us there with the stores closed for two days in a row due to government holidays, so went without a munchy run till Tuesday. Then the munchy run didn't net really good stuff, but made do. Will remember good stuff on the next trip. I was thankful for ScubaChick's Costco run before she left Boston!
