Karl here. I live in Utah, so any salt water diving is a long drive or short flight away. I first certified as an open water diver at age 16. The pool where I was working offered the manager free lessons that he gave to me. I have gone on to earn PADI Master Diver with PADI cards, and SSI Master Diver with SSI cards. I have 300 dives logged. 43 years later, I am thinking about getting wet again. I am an Assistant Instructor and have done many solo dives.

Hi Karl,
Welcome to the site. I'm also from UT and getting back into diving again. I initially learned at age 17 (now 55) and have been diving on and off over the years. Need a dive buddy in UT? Let's discuss!

I have spent 15 of the last 20 years in Hawaii, now in Idaho. Just wondering if folks still dive the Crater?
