Headline with a teaser and read more link works better on a mobile device which more people are using for email (I use both but with all the travel this year for work I'm doing it much more on the phone than a regular computer).  If the article is short then include it all - just have to figure out what "short" means but I would go with a paragraph or two if the paragraphs only have a few sentences.

 

I do like the highlights section too - quick and easy to see what I might want to read now vs later.

 

Good idea here! These days I also use my phone more often than a large screen computer.

I am going to try the NEW format for the June 2018 format and see if you all still agree to

 

Title, Teaser Link  plus adding an index.

 

Also any input on should I have a word from the wench column? Does anybody read it?  Does it confuse you into missing the index/highlights/contents list?

 

 

And Susan...the newsletter does not get us diving more...BUT it helps to keep our divers more connected and hopefully helps them to WANT to dive with us!

Actually, I disagree - - your GREAT newsletter helps us connect to fantastic SingleDivers.com trips, connect to other divers within the club, and along the way we have fun learning from each other.

 

Maybe the newsletter doesn't actually get us wet, but it's a GREAT to get us diving MORE!!
