Hi all. I found out about singledivers from my former student and friend Seawolf. I have been dry for 5 years, as I moved from Hawaii to Idaho. I had been wanting to go on vacation for a while now, but my wife and divemaster keeps changing jobs, and never has any time off. My dive gear is in good shape, and so am I. I am unsure if I want to renew my Instructor certifications, as I do not know if I will use it. If I find any fellow divers in Idaho, I might like to go on a quick trip to the Crater in Utah.
Thanks
Turtleguy9 aka Roger

Hi Roger! And WELCOME!!!

Little known fact...I used to live in Idaho... in fact I did my undergrad work at the UofI ! So howdy from a former "spudmiester".... ok ok I know they don't call us that but everyone else does! ;) lol !

We are so glad you found us and so thankful for Brett aka SeaWolf for telling you about us!  I'm sure you will enjoy our trips ...no teaching just diving! There's no better cure for what ails you!

Drop me a line if you need anything and of course if you need any help signing up for a trip. Our Best of Mexico will be delayed another day due to one missing input but its poised to be opened up... :diver:

  1. Howdy.
  2. Welcome !

When I first heard of the crater, I thought they were pulling my leg.   But, if I am ever in the area, I would dive it at least once :-)

I dove the Crater, on my way back from Cozumel, as I had a layover in Salt Lake, for a week. Not really exciting, but fun.

Hmmm sounds like we might need to do a club dive there at some point. ;)

Welcome to SD - feel safe here and feel safe to go on the SD trips

No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands can be considered normal.
