Do you need a different sized tank for this trip? We should be able to get a limited number of cf 100's and cf 65's. There is no charge for the smaller tank but there may be small upcharge for the larger tank especially if diving nitrox.

We will use a combination of first come first served along with 'who needs a bigger tank the most'.  So feel free to let us know if you just want it for an extra safety margin or if you really need it because you are 6ft 5in and make a football player seem small ....lol!

i am not sure the size, but i like using the smaller tanks if possible.  the regular ones are too big for me and really do a number on my head

Tami we want to emphasize the small tank option is not a HP steel 80cf rather it is a 65cf aluminum tank. You will want to ensure your gas consumption rate is adequate to complete a full hour long dive with the reduced gas supply before you opt for the AL65cf tank. :diver:

Thank you for the response.  I cannot recall if the tanks that I usually use are steel or aluminum, I think aluminum but not positive.  I can deal with the larger tanks if I need to.

See you all soon!

The standard tank is alum. If after diving the standard tank you want to try the smaller tank then we can do that!  To be effective you would typically need to have about 1200 PSI in your 80cf tank or more. Then you would still have enough gas in the 65cf tank to do your dive AND benefit from less weight on your back.

We will experiment if you like.
