Yes it's generally a good idea to bring your own gear since you are more familiar with it and know how it has been handled / serviced.  I bring everything except tanks and weights (so fins, wetsuit, bc, regs, mask etc.).  Tanks and weights are provided by the boat.

Oh and I arrive at 2:25 pm according to the flight schedule so it should work out well for the time they allow us on the boat at 3.  This is also one of the few liveaboards that I don't come in a day (or more) early.  It's generally not a problem to get on the boat if you are late.  Other liveaboards it's a good idea to arrive at least a day (or more) early and stay at a resort or hotel prior to make sure you get on the boat.

The boat will pick you up whatever time you arrive on Saturday and will hold a plate of food for you. If it is before 1500 then you get wait on the dock. If you are delayed and come in on Sunday instead then they can motor you out after they have left port. Just make sure they know to pick you up. There will be instructions on how to contact the boat as you get closer. Dont sweat it, this will be fine.

Usually rule of thumb... across the pond add 1-3 days for flight buffer and ability to adjust to time changes. In the Caribbean & Western Hemisphere... see how far the boat gets from the main dock near the airport. For example T&C ok to arrive same day. Hawaii you should arrive at least 1 day in advance but if flights allow you to fly from US all the way to the small island where the boat departs then you can do it but suggest 1 day there. Ecuador is another example of where you need to arrive 1 day in advance.  Fortunately for us the places that we should add a buffer are the ones that have the most fun things to do! :cool1:

Hi John, Kamala returned home from three weeks in Roatan last night (I know right??)  so I am sure the T&C Extra Nights arrangements will be forthcoming for those who have indicated the need. Thanks for the timely reminder for other attendees! :diver:

I believe I have done everything needed!  All forms have been submitted.  I'm assuming they will be reviewed and someone will let me know if I need to do anything else.  Hurry up January!

Yes Christie everything appears to be in order with your documents - typically due to the number of trip attendees vs. volunteers :teeth: we only bug folks if they are lacking information. You are golden and thank you  :thankyou: for your conscientiousness!!  :cloud9:
