We have a good start to this trip...it will be awesome! The diving is wonderful and the island is fantastic. Makes you feel like Cozumel used to be about 10 years ago. The viz is not a great as Cozy however the rich coral life will astound you as the waters are rich in nutrients and the corals are some of the healthiest I've ever seen! And then there are my beloved wrecks...even non-wreck divers will LOVE these wrecks! -ww

p.s. several of you have asked if we can modify the package to lower the number of dives...no problem....here are the dive package options. Start from the non-diver price add your dive package option to it:

The afternoon dives are more like a 3rd tank dive after lunch on the beach. We will pick two days to offer those along with one day where I hope to push the dives to the afternoon to allow for one morning of rest IF I can arrange it. I will find out about night dives if they are possible. -ww

What if we want to dive more? Like 2 AM, 2 PM and maybe a night dive thrown in. (yes, I'm thinking about it.... )

Of course you can dive more! Right now we are doing 2am each day all of which are a good hour or more of bottom time and 1 pm on 2 days. That only leaves 3 days that you can do a 3rd tank dive and of course one night dive option or transition dive is even better. That would be 4 more dives. That would be an additional $142 if they do not charge more for a night dive as many places do. I'll see what I can find out.

You will want to do one afternoon to either see the fabulous canapy tour and waterfalls as well as the nutmeg factories. It is REALLY interesting! My thought was do 2 days of 3 dives...set up a night dive for one night...let people sleep in one morning and then have 1 afternoon of sight seeing and 1 free afternoon so that people can do whatever they want.

Kamala! The side trips do sound alluring... trying very hard to be fiscally responsible but I am definitely considering this one! Funny how diving has become such an all-consuming passion. Pre-dive days, all I wanted to do was go to England & visit all the castles & battlefields. How my perspective has changed...

Given the flight I have worked out on points, I will also need a room for an two days in the beginning and extra night at the end. Anyone else know if they are going to be in this situation for some or all of this time? If so, I am happy to share a room during these times. In any event the room is cheaper than a flight!!

I can set it up for extra days at the resort so that won't be a problem. Finding a roommate will be a big plus. There is MUCH to do in Grenada so you'll not have time to be bored! -ww
