SUMMARY OF HOW EVERYONE IS GETTING THERE: (This will help us help you to carpool, share rental cars from the airport etc.)

FILLS & RENTALS:

 

Tanks are not included in the diving charter price because unlike a international destination where you can't bring your own tanks and therefore they are supplied; in NC you can bring your own tanks and so most people do since its a 'drive in' destination.

 

So if you are bringing your own tanks use the "FILL" pricing below. If you are renting tanks use the "RENTAL" pricing below. Also note that regardless of fills or rentals...you will need to help get the tanks to the shop for filling for the next day. The shop provides carts for helping with this and we'll create an assembly line to help people etc. But just remember that the shop is NOT responsible for taking your tanks off the boat, filling them and returning them to the boat the next day.

 

We will start to capture what you are doing HERE so we can get enough tanks onhold for you if RENTING. If doing fills it is not a big deal. If renting tanks and you opt for a larger tank then we definitely MUST get them on hold for you as soon as we can.

Just an FYI in case anyone is interested, I'm pretty sure Olympus sells ZooKeepers at their dive shop. Any idea if they rent or loan them out? Would be great for those who want to hunt but are flying in or don't want to drive home with a stinky tube.

I'll verify hunting is ok...I just assumed it was because it always has been but this is a new operator for us whom I've only dove with a couple of times so I better check to be sure there are no lionfish restrictions. They do Lionfish Rallies so I doubt it but I will verify. Tks,

YES hunting is verified and ALLOWED ON ANY DIVE THAT IS NOT A SHARK DIVE. (That is wise by the way!) . They do not have zookeepers for borrow or rent...only for sale but one of our LOCAL MEMBERS may have 1-2 zookeepers that we can use.

 

They also offer a 'class & PADI specialty for Lionfish' if anyone is interested.  Let me know and I'll post the pricing etc.

Awesome! Not sure you've done a trip with us since we've gotten the new system. Simply click HERE to book the trip via our online portal. Usually you can do dep or pay in full but our last sign up said it would not let him do the dep option so not sure if that is fixed yet or not.  Otherwise click on the GREEN BUTTON at the top of this post that says BOOK NOW and it takes you to the same place.

 

Make sure you log in again (as the booking portal is different from our old forums but uses your same username and password) and then add to cart. If you pay via your checking account you save about 3% and if you pay via credit card it will charge you the price listed.  The cash discount is taken when you pay but shows up on the SECOND payment email. The first order acknowledgement email only shows any coupons you used and the full amt. The 2nd payment email shows what you paid for in your most recent transaction including your cash discount.

Great! Yes I will note this in the #4 topic called Who's Doing What. MANY will be bringing their own tanks and we will have that worked out before the trip.
