I shudder to think that we could have to reschedule this trip being in Oct but nothing is off the table right now. So we are trying to be proactive ... REALLY PROACTIVE...we will start the discussion now in case we find we need to act quickly upon it.

 

And now for the double jeopardy....

 

Since every trip sans Turks & Caicos in Jan and NC in July has been cancelled this year including our Bonaire trip later this month and our Nov Dominica trips... we have steadily been filling 2021 up with 2020 trips on top of the existing 2021 trips we had already set up. Sadly 2021 is getting awfully full and we need to look to pushing any reschedules into 2022 vs 2021.

 

I am hoping this trip IF IT HAS TO BE RESCHEDULED it will be a good candidate to move to 2022.  All our research has shown that Oct is one of the absolute sweet spots for weather and conditions AND cheaper air etc. So check check and check all those off the list for great time to go there!

 

Bocas Del Toro is a funky, fun, young vibe and adventure driven island and community. So we want to capitalize on the cultural aspects, experiential aspects and see other parts of the country AS WELL AS DIVE!!  So any trip we do including this one has to have a trip to the Panama Canal built into it and we plan to enjoy as many other non-diving things as we can.

 

So if we do have to reschedule this then we'd want to stay in the same timeframe to take advantage of the holiday, great weather and temps and the super fun things to do that the island and country offer.

 

So let us know if you are ok with us rescheduling to 2022 IF we have to reschedule this year and we will post more info about how fun and exciting this destination is so you can decide if you want to add it to your bucket list or not!

 

THOSE ON THE TRIP ALREADY WHO WANT TO RESCHEDULE TO 2021:

1.  Kamala aka WreckWench - I can go either way but do worry about 2021 getting too full from 2020 reschedules

Thank you for being so pro-active to start this discussion now.

In my case, considering all the options that Kamala has mentioned, I think the best option would be to move the trip to October 2022.

There’s pros and cons to each decision, so always open for discussion.

Its easy to be proactive with such a great group of people. It also helps that most of us have been thru several rounds of this merry go round so its not our first rodeo. :wacho:

 

We *may* need a less expensive trip for fall 21 so this could still swing back into that timeframe but I'm leaning as of now for Oct 2022.

Many of my dive trips are still trying to reschedule 2020 dates forward to 2021 to 2023 and I don't want to double book anything.

Still working on it. They are just reopening and have been slammed. I have not finalized the date yet. I'll revisit asap! Thank you!
