I have been exercising some... NO not enough but I've been even worse about tracking it. I did however walk over 2mil yesterday so will log that as even intermittent exercise is still valuable and shows progress.  NO you don't have to do it every day...but it helps. And NO you don't have to record everything ...but that which is measured improves! So I'm still trying to get my momentum going... and I'm still trying... all still heading in the right direction. Tks, k

 

ps I feel as if I'm at a exercise anonymous meeting admitting that I don't exercise like I should... :wacko:  But at least I am with friends... anyone else feel this way?

Update for the exercise plan:

4/23 Walk dog 3 miles, pilates video 30 min

4/24 Walk dog 3 miles, charity walk 2.5 miles

4/25 skiing and walk dog

4/26 walk dog and neighbor walk  5.1 miles

4/27 walk dog 3 miles and snowshoe 4miles

4/28 walk dog 3 miles and pilates

Staying on track!!!

I have been doing a little upper body exercise the last couple of days.  I gave the walking a try again today, and did 2 one mile walks.  Hoping to get some walking in again tomorrow.

I did a morning 2 mile walk and and afternoon 1.5 mile walk yesterday.  Today was a 2 mile walk in the morning.

Monday -- Cardio Work Out, Abs, Planks for 4 min

Tuesday -- Tread climber

Thursday -- Toning Video, Planks for 4 mins

Friday -- Tread climber

 

Yesterday, Sunday -- 2.5 hour dive at BHB

Just got home from Mexico on Friday (following an extra week after the most excellent SingleDivers Grill n Dive trip to Cozumel where I logged my 300th dive). Believe it or not, I am still shoveling snow. The bulldozer leaves a huge iceberg across my driveway. So for my official exercise, I have been shoveling an hour a day to clear it so I can have my circle drive back. Also moved the last of the firewood off the porch and set up my archery target. Spring is here!

I have done my morning and afternoon walks each of the last 3 days.  Friday totaled 3.5 miles while yesterday and today each totaled 5 miles.  It feels good to be back at it on a regular basis.

Thursday 2 miles of walking and a little upper body exercise

Friday 6 miles of walking

Saturday 3 miles of walking, a little upper body exercise, and cut the lawn

I havent done a great job of keeping track of the daily activity, so here is an approximation.  I have walked 3-6 miles on five of the last 6 days. It has been a bit challenging to get back into the regular routine of a morning and afternoon walk, but I am pushing myself to get out there as much as possible, to get back in the flow.  I got my two walks in today, with the morning walk cut short due to an appointment, and will do my best to get 6 miles in tomorrow.
