I met my goals 19 days out of 31 in April with at least 31 mins of exercise (and 10,000 steps) on those days.

Hi all
I haven't posted lately - but have been keeping up the walking. Have to get back into an overall workout though.
Here are my unposted steps: Week ending May 15 70K steps, week ending May 22 58K steps plus two golf games (yes we can golf again in Ontario, now if only restaurants could open )
Cheers!

I am thinking about all of you lucky people that are going on this trip, and I am jealous. I figured I would post here, as a suggestion to get back out there and do a little exercise for the next few months leading up to your trip. A little extra conditioning will help your air consumption. As they dive in groups, and stay together all dive, they go up together as well. I have made this trip twice. The first time, I wore new dive gloves. The finger tips were gone within a couple of days. The second trip, I bought a pair of synthetic leather work gloves from Home Depot. They worked great, and I strongly recommend giving it a try. Your days up at Wolf and Darwin will be spent holding on to rocks during the dives, so good hand protection is very important. Ed

I hate exercise too much to start a year before the trip.
Three months is more like it... Plus the new year and all.
Week ending 1/22/2022:
3 aerobics classes.
8.5 miles on the treadmill.
2630 active calories.

Great job Chris. I thought about that exact thing when this post started up. The trip seemed so far off, that I wondered how many were going to set a regime, and stick with it that long. My way of dealing with that issue has been to try and book a trip every few months. That always keeps me in the time frame where I need to start getting in shape for the next upcoming trip. Just a suggestion. Ed
