Scuba diving and yoga; two activities that seem so far apart, yet hold so many similarities. So much so that scuba retreats around the world incorporate yoga as part of their products and services and vice versa. Google the term ‘scuba yoga retreat’ to see for yourself. But, why exactly? Both novice and advanced scuba diving enthusiasts are recognizing that practicing yoga can drastically improve their overall scuba diving experience, a reason why so many divers are now incorporating yoga as a crucial element in their pre-dive routine. They also share many intangible similarities, too, which have to do with feeling connected – with yourself and your surroundings. Both practices are known to instill a deep sense of calmness and even deeper meditative states. So, how exactly does this happen? Read on to learn how scuba diving and yoga at their core hold numerous synergies.

We will be offering FREE YOGA classes on this trip. Please let us know if you will be participating. See if you are qualified below....

 

• No experience... NO PROBLEM this is for NEWBIES AS WELL AS SEASONED YOGIS
• Lots of experience... NO PROBLEM...we'd love for you to help out especially if we have LOTS of interest.
• Can't touch your toes? NO PROBLEM...you don't have to be able too...we'll show you why!
• Can't reach the overhead binb in the airplane? NO PROBLEM...but for sure you want to learn what we'll be sharing this week for FREE!!!
• Hate getting sand all over you? NO PROBLEM...the yoga will NOT be done on the sand BUT you will be able to see the ocean!

THOSE WANTING TO PARTICIPATE AT LEAST ONCE OR EVEN EVERY OPPORTUNITY...just let us know for planning purposes:

1. I'm in for at least one session
2. I'd like to try to do 2-3 sessions
3. I'm in for every session you offer

Rebecca I will add you as a tentative with your clarifying comments. This is the most flexible option on the trip, so last minute decisions will be no trouble to accommodate.

We usually do these BEFORE diving in the am so you being an early riser like you are...it should not interfere at all!
