Is it a good idea to get there on Friday or just keep it to Saturday ? Also to leave on Sunday ? My flight ticket would be considerably less from friday- Sunday.
Gary the hotel is small and has TONS of repeat customers that soak up all its inventory. Its been an island icon for years and is well loved by all. So they do not allow partial weeks since it messes up their inventory. They DID allow US only to do a partial week before and after but I only have a couple of rooms, and they can't be single occupancy unless at the very end there is no one to share a room with and YOU HAVE TO BOOK IT FOR 3 EXTRA DAYS. I also have 2 rooms on the back end and its the same... shared occupancy and it must be booked for 3 days. Truthfully by the time you pay the really high daily rate...you almost have the pkg and but not all the benefits. The per day rate is high...much higher than the extra on the air.
There is one other option. You can try and get a room in West End. Some of the more basic ones are under $100 (don't forget to add the 19% taxes which are in our rates already) and then change over to the group hotel for the trip dates.
