I agree with Dennis! I guess when it is decided what the focus of the trip will be I can decide if I will come down or not (provided I can even get the time off work that time of year).I personally am interested in doing mostly shallow dives. I would like to dive the Eagle, though. That is a great dive. Donna just doesn't like deep dives and she will be my buddy, so that is my interests. Reefs are fine with me. I love the Benwood. I believe we could accomodate all of the interests in the group if planned correctly.

The focus of the trip will be for divers such as you and Dennis to enjoy diving with others from this board. We are looking into the feasibility of also providing opportunities for those interested in diving deep wrecks to do so.

We do need to find a dive shop that uses a hyperfilter and partial pressure fills EANx. We usually prefer 28% to the 32% that most places bank. Of course it depends on where we are diving (how deep, etc.).
Looking forward to some fun!

Trips like this can include deep(er) wrecks (130 to 200+ depths), trimix, decompression, scooters, wreck penetration, you name it. On many of these dives, we can dive on real ship wrecks (not just artificial reefs that are specifically prepared for recreational divers). I mean, I am talking about diving into history. It is pretty awesome!
Typically, the number of divers on the boat will be smaller and the boat fees are somewhat higher per outing (about $75 to $85). Because of the smaller number of divers required for these outings, there would only have to be a small group of takers in order to start setting up these kinds of trips.
Obviously, it would be unwise to participate in these activities if one does not have the qualifications, equipment and experience. Please only indicate your interest if you will have these requirements by the time you make the trip.
Does anyone have an interest in making these kinds of dives? (Yep, I'm perking up!)

I'm a computer diver on EANx, tables for mix (waiting for Delta-P to release the VPM version of the VR3, since VPlanner is what I run for table planned dives and it hasn't left me feeling pretzelled yet )
I prefer to keep runtimes to an hour in the ocean for environmental reasons.
Planning to get a CCR (Dive-Rite) this spring, if/when they release theirs (assuming I like it when I see it in production trim as much as I've seen so far) It'll be a while once I have it before I'm comfortable at the same depths and with the same obligations (e.g. overheads, etc) that I am on OC now, I suspect.

You guys that want to dive into deep dark holes, go right ahead. I try to stay out of them. I just want to have fun on my dives, penetration and deco is just too much work. I am the perfect recreational diver, besides, I don't get to dive enough to be totally proficient. There is much to be said for proficiency when you do the dives you are talking about. I know I would be dangerous on those kinds of dives. You have to know your limitations. People that don't usually have bad things happen to them.
