Hi Kamala, hope all is well. Saw the cuba trip change of boat increasing the size. The one thing I guess that's the most important for me is to minimize motion sickness so low and in the middle of the boat I guess. But a balcony would be good so I could chum in private if I have too? Are there a change in price?

 

Price did not change. Your first thought is best... the balcony is $590 more per person so you'd be better off doing  low and midship.

I'm leading a dive trip as we speak but I am getting the first original wait list cleared and then will move to the second wait list as soon as we have cleared the original wait list. This is only fair to those who have waited the longest to join this epic and iconic trip.

 

NOTE:

 

We have not set up all the details for the land based portions of this trip. CUBA IS NOT A TRADITIONAL VACATION RESORT AREA. SingleDIvers.com has a TON of legal requirements we must adhere to in order to do this trip. Therefore we will maximize what people want to do so we ALL REMAIN LEGAL AND THE LICENSES COVER YOU CORRECTLY.

 

This is NOT someplace you want to get stuck in and YES YOU CAN.  We will start the process of figuring out our land based options after we finalize the last 6 sign ups.

 

Currently we are looking to arrive in HAVANA for several days BEFORE the trip to ensure we do not cut it too close AND stay a few days after to ensure we SEE ALL THE ICONIC THINGS HAVANA has to offer.

 

The only rub to this plan is that its a 6 hr drive each way BUT they do have beautiful airconditioned buses and we SEE CUBA IN A WAY WE WOULD NEVER SEE IT OTHERWISE.... we see the countryside and the real Cuba.

 

Some flights have resumed to other closer cities but we need to see how they shake out before offering them. I will set up a poll for everyone ON the trip to participate in and then we will go from there.
