Note: This is not set up yet but it we get 4-5+ people we can easily set it up. I would estimate about $25-30 US per person if we can get 4-5 people for the gas and the guide. It could be a bit more but should be in that vicinity price wise. Let us know if interested so we can work to arrange it.

Chez Neal/ Chez SD Volunteer Supply List: (A longtime SD tradition of a designated Happy Hour room)
This is a totally volunteer contribution effort, but between Duty Free and selecting your own favorite libations this has proven a super Social Hour solution!
We also solicit snacks, so if you prefer not to contribute alcohol please consider chips, crackers, etc.
LOCATION: The Wench's room (plus 1-2 rooms near the dive shop in case of overflow!)
WHEN: When diving is over! Come join us for Happy Hour drinks and snacks (concludes at dinnertime)
HOW: Get a bottle at Duty Free and snacks from home (nuts, pretzels etc) Mixers as well as beer can be found a block away at Sunshine Grocery.
OTHER: We ask a few volunteers to bring cups plus ice from the ice machine. We may need a few extra mixers depending on what people bring.
AFTER: After HH each night we store the beverages as well as snacks in the host studio that includes a kitchen and bring them out for the next HH.
NOTE: Please feel free to take your 'bottle' back to your room with you if you  wish and/or leave it until the next day for the HH (Happy Hour)

Hi everyone! I'm so excited for my first trip with SingleDivers and also to Bonaire!

I am interested in the night dive, donkey tour of the island, guided shore dive, and potentially using nitrox for the week. Any recommendations for or against using Nitrox based on the type of diving we will be doing (shallow vs deep)?

As for Happy Hour, if I have room in my suitcases (after dive and camera gear of course), I will try to bring some yummy snacks. Is anyone an afternoon coffee drinker? Is there a way we can get or make coffee?

The biggest advantage for nitrox on a trip like this is in matching you to a dive buddy since almost everyone else will be using nitrox. The diving is easy and time is limited so except for the deep dives there is probably not much of a reason to do it except to have a larger selection of potential buddies.  I personally don't think it's necessary but bought nitrox anyway just for that reason.  Others will undoubtably disagree but that was my reason.

 - The log will refresh on the TRIPS tab, scroll down to find Bonaire March 2023 and click the associated "Book Now" button (the same as when you booked your Trip Package)
 - On the Bonaire March 2023 Booking Page scroll down to find the Add On items you want, add each to the Shopping Cart
 - When Add Ons are in the Cart click the same CHECKOUT button as when you booked the Trip Package and follow payment steps

Diving conditions are easy and usually on reefs that have plenty to see even at relatively shallow depths. How ever due to several days with multiple dives Nitrox will extend No Deco Limit (NDL) times especially by the third or fourth dive each day. Also as Scott mentioned most of the members will be diving Nitrox so it will be beneficial in matching the extended NDL times the others will have. We recommend Nitrox for this trip.

As for Happy Hour, if I have room in my suitcases (after dive and camera gear of course), I will try to bring some yummy snacks. Is anyone an afternoon coffee drinker? Is there a way we can get or make coffee?
Yummy snacks are the BEST snacks ever! The "Chez Neal" Happy Hour is unique to the club' Bonaire trip and is a traditional start to each post dive evening where members mingle and group up for dinner plans based on interest (Italian, local, Chinese etc.).
Pro Tip: So while snacks are greatly appreciated, if you have room to pick up a Duty Free bottle of your preferred libation (on the USA end is recommended) most mixers are available at local nearby markets.
The resort web page specifically mentions "tea and coffee making equipment" but I believe we are talking 2-4 cups per brew max, and no espresso machines in room.

you may also want to bring you own GROUND coffee if its really important to you or you may be getting whatever they can find.  It might be ok or not.  The chances of being able to grind beans is very slim and the chances of beans being confiscated at entry is significantly higher.... probably approaching 100%.
