A friendly FYI...Some countries will not allow entry, if your passport is set to expire within 3 - 4 months.

And there is an additional $55.00 - $65,00 fee for a "Rush Process". Hope that is of help...

I renewed mine and was surprised how easy it is. Made appointment at local post office, walked in with expired passport.... they took photos and within a week I had my new passport :-)

Depends how long it has been expired.... too long and the process is more complicated.
