We ask that you post IN THIS TOPIC YOU ARE READING to tell us what you are shooting on the this trip...  and to answer the following questions we need to know to help everyone be fully supported in their picture taking endeavors but to also ensure that everyone gets to see the great pics our members take and even let us know if you'll be a model for us!

1. I am hoping to bring a second SLR for some land photography.  I will not know until I am at the packing stage and I see how much room I have.

2. I will be taking pictures underwater with a housed SLR.

3. I have not done a lot of macro, but I am starting to focus more on that.  I will have a macro set up for a number of my dives.  

4. I will put a wide angle lens on for a couple of the dives to try and take scenery / diver pics.  I will also have a portrait lens for some fish pictures.

5. My camera will do video, and I may take a few clips, but most will be still shots.

6. I am already a guest admin, and I try and share my pics to help the club.

7. I do share my pics in the trip photo gallery.
8. I will try to post to smugmug after I get all my pics into FB for the benefit of the club. Its important to me that it survive and Kamala feels this helps so that is where I post my pics.

9. I really do not make a very good model but I'm happy to take pictures of others.

10. When I find something, I am happy to share it once I have taken a few pictures.

I haven't even looked at the pictures of my last dive trip so I'm not reliable on the rest of the questions.

Jeff is doing a little light Paralenz-nothing too involved. To the point that you can probably put me down as a non-photog.

I will be using my SeaLife micro 3.0 with two separate lights mounted. Just learning what works for pictures, so I will take some pictures and some video, nothing specific. On land I will use my cell phone for group/landscape/fun shots.

 

I do not post to social media while on vacation, but will once home and have no problem sharing with other and singledivers.com.

 

Mark, ZorcaSailor, will be using his GoPro while diving, mostly video.

 

either of us are ok with being in anyone else’s shots. Watch out for the photobombs!

I will be using a camera on most dives. I will play a little with macro and a diopter.  My camera works best close focus wide angle.  It does not seem to gather enough light for a large scene WA shot.  So I end up with WA Macro, and whatever you call regular pictures.

This is a new device for me so I will be learning/playing with the different features.
