I really want to dive the Red Sea, maybe a buffer day or 2 on each end. I have no interest in an extended land tour or Nile cruise. I am new to the forum, what do I do to get notified when the trip sign up becomes available? Thank you for your help and I look forward to diving with you!

 

Hello Leigh, as Kamala mentioned you are already prepared to access the Booking Page when we announce the trip open for booking. You will know because the Notify List we added you to is literally a list of members who will be contacted via Private Message (which sends out email notices when posted) or direct email to say "This trip is open for booking!" That will be your signal to book your spot!

To help you as a first time trip attendee, we will email you the steps to book your spot when it is time (it is simpler than the directions on how to post here, which you did perfectly!)   We are here to help! NO worries!

Thanks Tony... this is being finalized right now. The Nile cruise carriers have tweaked their schedules so we have to review our final offering to ensure that our schedule still works for what we originally set up. 

 

Due to needing a large number of people to keep the land based pkg REASONABLE IN PRICE... we are doing several things;

1. We will combine air from JFK to Cairo and the in-country air from Cairo to the boat and back. (This will keep overall costs down and keep everyone together as a group This is important for safety reasons as well as logistics and more.)
2. We will make the entire package to include the boat and the 7 day prior tour package with a 3 day add on at the end to get additional tours. (This is not the most efficient but its workable and allows us to offer what we need to offer to keep pricing AS LOW AS POSSIBLE. )
3. We will offer a 'land only pkg' for non diving spouses who may want to join us and/or members who just want to do the land tours. (Yes we have some who do this when we run this trip)
4. We've used the same air consolidators and Egyptian Tour Operators for over 15 years. That is a huge accomplishment given the world of travel and fairly unheard of anymore. So we are proud to offer a 'best in class' experience by a 'best in class' operator with YEARS AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. 
5. Our tours are so unique and different (but include so many classics) that many of our members repeat the tours when they repeat the diving options we offer. (Yes we mix up the itinerary for the diving as well so we can keep seeing new and different things)

I fully expect to have everything ironed out this coming week. Stay tuned...
