I was looking at arriving a day earlier, as the flights are slightly less in skymiles.

Do you recommend taking the ferry from St Martin to Satia? The flights for the jumper on Winair with carry-on were $500+.

Yes, taking a ferry between Saba and Statia is an option, and Kamala will be providing more details as the trip grows nearer. I can tell you it is about ten miles between the islands, plus this excerpt from my search:

"Ferries between Sint Eustatius and Saba operate on a regular schedule, with travel times typically around 45 minutes. For specific departure times, it is best to check the latest schedules from ferry operators like Makana Ferry or The Edge Ferry, as they may vary by day."

1. I will check with the booking agent for the ferry companies you mentioned. 

You mentioned there is a ferry from Saba to Statia (Sint Eustatius). BUT I hope you were implying there is a ferry from Sint Maarten NL to Saba, and then from Saba to Statia. I can only find a skymiles flight to St Maarten.

 

      2. If I want to use my sky miles its almost half the miles from Friday to Friday (July 24-July 31) than from Saturday to Saturday (July 25-Aug 1).

Is there any flexibility in the dates? I would like to arrive a day earlier at least so I can try out my new BCD with shore dives, (July 24, 2026).

 

Is that a possibility, and would there be an extra charge be for a date change; coming a day earlier and leaving a day later?

We will be helping everyone with transfers as they are not always the easiest. I will be posting info on how to do all possible transfers. 

 

Yes there is a ferry from St Martin to Saba and from Saba to Statia and Statia to St Kitts. We will be doing most if not all of them due to the pricing issues the small hoppers are facing fuel wise. 

 

We can check on the friday to friday option to see if any availability. We suggest if a room is available on Friday that you just add an extra day as your entire pkg will be out of sync. Let me see what we can do. 

 

I do not understand the part about leaving a day later?
