Mar: TRUK LAGOON WRECK EXTRAVAGANZA.... the working schedule is looking like the following...
- Depart HOU or LAX or ANY UNITED HUB Sun Mar 4, 2027 for 14 days land or Mar 8 for 10 days land
- Mar 6-20 or Mar 10-20 , 2027 - 10 or 14 days in TRUK LAGOON LAND BASED ... TRUK TRUK TRUK!!!!. - for both recreational and technical/advanced diving of Truk
- Mar 20-27, 2027- 7 days Truk liveabaord for serious recreational divers and technical/advanced diving of Truk...more info coming or inquire before booking
- Mar 27, 2027 - day room at Blue Lagoon to spend the day waiting for 12:10 am flight on Mar 28
We are planning on doing up to 2 trips in one. 10-14 days in Truk BEFORE the boat days to allow for mixed dive boats meaning more technical divers wanting to do deep deep wrecks and intermediate divers wanting deep wrecks and divers wanting more shallow wrecks of which Truk has it all from 20ft to over 200ft. We can do some mixing of dive skills on the boat of deep and very deep but not a lot of shallow as the mother ship locates by the wrecks to allow simple return to the boat WITHOUT NEEDING A ZODIAC. The more shallow wrecks are smaller and can not support 16 divers which is what the boat holds. The last day the group graduates to the San Francisco Maru which is 100-186 ft deep (top = 100 ft and bottom = 186). If someone does not wish to dive this wreck which we usually have 2-6 people who will do something different much shallower. Since this will be the 4th trip to Truk for SingleDivers.com and the last Truk trip for a number of our core wreck diving members... we are looking at adding in some other very deep wrecks such Aikoku, the Amigasan, the Momokawa, and the Shotan. We will do some classic Truk wrecks but they are the same ones that everyone else does AND WILL BE DONE ON THE LAND TRIP partially because they are iconic but partially because other operators offer them so people expect similar consistency. So by offering the land based part of this epic adventure... we can help those wanting to 'do Truk' as a more recreational experience BUT we can also allow those wanting a more advanced, exotic and challenging experience to dive the most iconic wrecks... thereby offering SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?
- An island like no other...
- An entry to history preserved in time...
- Ideal conditions in an ideal environment...
- All reveal the tumultuous times of war.. of victory and the human side to it all.
- And for the first time ever... we are offering the perfect Truk Experience based upon your desire to dive shallow, deep or technical. This trip offers it all...

Diving for NEARLY ALL SKILLS... How? See below.
Truk Lagoon offers the shallowest of wrecks in 20ft of water to over 200ft of water. Because of the diversity of the wrecks Truk can be an exceptional experience for purely recreational divers as well as the most adrenaline filled technical and advanced divers. TRUK HAS IT ALL!!! With the size of the wrecks, even a wreck sitting in 120 feet of water can be dove in a 30-70 foot range.
And SingleDivers.com has the RIGHT TRUK EXPERIENCE FOR YOU!!! See HOW we OPTIMIZE this by joining our EPIC TRUK 'SHALLOW, TRUK 'DEEP' or TRUK 'TECHNICAL/ADVANCED' TRIP OFFERINGS.
Whether you want to see the deepest of wrecks such as the San Francisco Maru (anyone for a double dip?) or rarely dove wrecks such as the Nagano Maru or Aikoku maru ... our Truk Advanced / Technical Itinerary is perfect for you. This itinerary also includes deeper wreck penetration that will balance your advanced training with your adrenaline addiction.
Or if you want to enjoy extended bottom time, shallower depths but still dive wrecks equally rich in history like the Kiyosumi or Yamagiri then you will love our TRUK SHALLOW Itinerary. Yes you can truly dive DEEP into history but never dive deeper than 80 ft.
And if you are like most people and find yourself somewhere in between the 'Shallow Truk' experience and the 'Advanced/Technical Truk' experience then you'll love our 'Truk Deep' Itinerary where you'll focus on wrecks between 80-100 or as deep as 130 feet yet might include a shallow wreck or two as well. This is where most good divers will find themselves. Able to manage reasonable depths with good gas management yet still enjoy the beauty of natural light shining thru the water column in 40 ft of water showcasing the soft corals of this region as found on the Shinkoku Maru.
So while most of you will know exactly which Itinerary you should choose ...some of you would love a chance to share your thoughts with someone who's 'been there done that' and can help you choose the PERFECT Itinerary for your epic Truk Experience!!!

NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PERFECT TRUK EXPERIENCE IS... WE HAVE THE PERFECT ITINERARY FOR YOU.
ELEMENTS OF THE PERFECT TRUK EXPERIENCE:
- TIME: With so many wrecks to choose from and only 2-3 dives a day ... a 10 day or 14 day experience is important for a perfect Truk Experience.
- LIKE MINDED: If you only want to dive to 200ft or deeper you will not be suited diving with divers wanting to dive in 60-80ft. So allowing divers to dive with others who are equally 'like minded' you will enhance your perfect Truk Experience.
- SMALL GROUPS: Diving in a small group of equally skilled divers enables one group to head for deeper wrecks and another to enjoy shallower wrecks. So we will group divers together in groups of 6-7 and you will have your own boat and your own guide and in some cases as little as 4 divers to a guide.
- BUILDING UPON DIVES: The dive operator is getting to know each boat of divers that we will be grouping together to help everyone have the perfect Truk experience. You will start on easier wrecks and build towards more difficult wrecks depending on the Itinerary you've chosen (Shallow, Deep, Advanced/Tech) the skills of the group, and your diving objectives such as pictures, penetration, etc.
- LOCATION OF THE WRECKS: Some wrecks are a short boat ride and some wrecks are a long boat ride. And some wrecks are simply not easily accessible if at all via a land based operator. So grouping wrecks that make the most sense to dive by land helps to optimize the perfect Truk experience for everyone.
- SHARED EXPERIENCES: Not only will you enjoy the experience of a small like minded group of divers on your daily boat out to the wrecks but also at night your group experiences will expand as you share meals and memories with the others on the trip.
- EXPERT ORGANIZATION: We've now done Truk a number of times both via land and via liveaboard. We want to offer the PERFECT TRUK EXPERIENCE FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DO. We expect the trip will mostly be those wanting 'Truk Deep and Truc Advanced' but are happy to work with those who might want 'Truk Shallow' Just keep in mind that you will need a minimum of 60 dives and preferably more to really enjoy your PERFECT TRUK EXPERIENCE.
COMBINING THOSE ELEMENTS INTO THE PERFECT TRUK EXPERIENCE:
We have looked at the wrecks of Truk Lagoon from a depth, skill level needed and location perspective. Diving wrecks that are closer to one another not only makes it more practical for the operator but it helps to optimize where we should dive on the landbased portions of the trip as well as the liveaboard protions of the trip The liveaboard is well suited to reach wreck sites not reachable by the land based boats.
We are offering both land based 10 and 14 day dive packages for those who want the convenience of diving with like minded divers either shallow, deep or technical profiles AND a liveaboard package for those who want to maximize the chance to reach wrecks that are rarely dove due to distance from the land operators or deeper than recreational limits or have eluded your ability to check them off the list because every time you do Truk everyone dives the same classic wrecks.
So our combination of land and liveaboard will allow you to TRULY BUILD THE PERFECT TRUK EXPERIENCE.

OUR PLAN:
We are offering a combination of land packages and liveaboard packages. Our small groups of 4-7 divers will be grouped by how they want to dive, how leisurely they wish to dive or how aggressively they wish to dive regarding depths, times and gases.
WORKING SCHEDULE BASED UPON MEMBER INTEREST:
- 10 day Truk Perfect Land Only Experience (Either Shallow, Deep or Techinical/Advanced)
- 14 day Truk Perfect Land Only Experience (Either Shallow, Deep or Techinical/Advanced ...note if you do shallow you will need to repeat some wrecks. Many are hundreds of feet long so can easily be repeated and you'd never know if they did not tell you.)
- 10 day Truk Perfect Land Experience + 7 day Truk Perfect Liveaboard Experience - (Better for Deep or Techinical/Advanced)
- 14 day Truk Perfect Land Experience + 7 day Truk Perfect Liveaboard Experience -(Better for Deep or Techinical/Advanced)
At this time we are not looking at offering the liveaboard as a standalone option because its better for Deep or Techinical/Advanced itinearies, the time and effort needed to get to Chuuk/Truk and because many of the members joining this trip have done Truk before and they want the liveaboard to be geared towards doing wrecks traditionally not done, or doing a double dip on some of the deepest wrecks, etc. HOWEVER if all people want is a 7 day liveaboard experience please tell us so if we need to adapt or switch gears... we can work to do so. YOU get to help us build out this epic experience so please tell us what you want...even if it is not listed above. And tell us the itinerary that you want... Shallow, Deep or Advanced/Technical
WE ARE OFFERING 3 DIFFERENT ITINERARIES AS FOLLOWS:
Truk Shallow - ideal for those who have 60 or more dives, enjoy the historical aspects of the wrecks but also love the beautiful shallow artificial reefs that they have turned into. They are happy to stay fairly shallow in 20- 80 ft of water and they enjoy surveying wrecks and maybe peeking inside but not entering the wreck unless its an open swim thru. Wrecks suited for this group include: Fujikawa, Gosei, Rio, Kensho and others. NOTE: Many wrecks have some relief n shallow or shallower waters but also in deep waters. Since many of these wrecks are several hundred feet long... you can do several dives on a wreck and still not see it all even on some of the shallower ones. If you opt for this option you will do small wrecks like the bomber planes and you will repeat larger wrecks that have a lot of relief.
Truk Deep - ideal for those who have 100 or more dives, enjoy diving in the 80- 100 ft range, love history and are ok with diving both deeper and shallower depending on the wreck. This is the most versatile group and the one we expect most of our members to fall into. This trip is for you!! You will see the best of the best wrecks... enjoy the best that Truk has to offer and you will come away a BETTER DIVER after TRUK HAS TOUCHED YOUR SOUL AND HONED YOUR DIVING SKILLS!!
Truk Advanced/Technical - ideal for those who have been to Truk several times and are frustrated that they always do the 'same wrecks'. This group expects to dive as many of the deep deep wrecks that they can including the San Francisco at least twice, the Amagisan, the 169, Aikoku and other deeper or advanced wrecks such as the Shotan and Nagano. This group will be doing decompression diving, will be exceeding all recreations limits, generally using mixed gases, and otherwise doing a lot of serious 'adrenaline diving'. This group will NOT interfere with the diving of the Shallow or Deep Truk Divers... equally the Shallow and Deep divers will not interfere with the Tech.Advanced Divers.

HOW TO DECIDE WHICH OPTION IS RIGHT FOR ME:
To my knowledge no one has worked to offer the perfect Truk Experience to a diverse and varied group of divers with the goal of ensuring we book the right blocks of members who will blend well together (shallow, deep or advanced/technical) and who will get to experience what Truk can be regardless of your diving styes/ preferences and obviously skills. Most trips choose the experience desired and then try to attract divers who fit that profile. So most trips are either very very advanced and technical or they are very very recreational and sometimes they are a good mix of recreational and more seasoned divers but unless everyone is looking for a similar experience... you have to very careful in choosing your trip.
Now enter SingleDivers.com and our vision to offer a way to create your perfect Truk Experience.
FIRST CHOOSE THE STATEMENT THAT BEST DESCRIBES THE TRUK TRIP YOU HAVE BEEN DREAMING ABOUT:
- The perfect Truk Experience for the diver who has done Truk before and wants to get to wrecks not offered on 'first timer trips.
- The perfect Truk Experience for the history buff and diver but has no interest in diving to 200 ft but still wants to see this epic and historical venue while wanting to explore wrecks in the 80-100 or even 120 ft range.
- The perfect Truk Experience for the history buff who is also a diver who has no interest in diving to 200 ft or even past 100ft for that matter but still wants to see this epic and historical venue and/or see the beautiful marine life and gorgeous artificial reefs these wrecks have become but do it as shallow as possible.
- The perfect Truk Experience focuses on a 'classic Truk Experience' of medium depth , and deeper depth wrecks because this will be the only chance to do this amazing venue and expand their diving skills while they are at it
- The perfect Truk Experience for technically trained and advanced divers wanting to double dip on the most iconic wrecks in the world and yeah they are deep...REALLY deep but 'carpe diam'...seize the moment ...this is where training/preparation meets opportunity
