back again after a long hiatus which began soon after seawitch, wreckgoddess and myself hooked up for some great dives with walter, stushark, dandydon and several others down in key largo back in november.
haven't been diving since and am finally free to get back in the water. am casting about for ideas on where to go. got some friends in Cali who are urging me to come for a visit, and I'm thinking why the hell not, especially if I can get some dives in. flights are fairly cheap from DC this time of year.
but since I've never even been in the water off that part of the US, was hoping some of you might clue me in on some good dive spots, if possible, for this time of year. window of opportunity is tight, essentially Feb. 18 thru Mar. 1.
this is sort of a scattershot request, but any and all recommendations/advice and/or hoots of derision will be most welcome.
