As my name says, get me out of Vegas to Dive!   Retired 3 years ago, and was getting pretty bored being single and alone in Vegas.   I do have a crazy hobby of building an extensive reproduction of the Disney Tower of Terror Boiler room complete with a multimedia show.   Yet this has been a solo passion project that sits unused except during Halloween, when I open it to the public.

I had done a quite a bit of diving mainly in my 30's, and stopped,  getting caught up in life.   Did my first dive trip in nearly 15 yrs this June, and it was so wonderful it made me ask myself why did I ever stop.  So I am on a mission to go to as many exotic diving spots (I am warm water diver only ) as possible over the coming years.

Hi Tom... I'm so happy you found us and you went from 'finding to booking a trip' in about 48 hrs which is really impressive!

 

We got you on the Curacao trip and super excited to have you join our club! We have a TON of retired members who want to squeeze as much diving in as possible and they also happen to be 'single not married' and they love that we do so many trips... make things so easy for our members... and connect with so many others 'just like ourselves'.  

 

Sadly you mentioned you were trying to get this trip in before some surgery. Do they have any idea when you'll be able to travel again? We have a ton of trips if you noticed HERE and still have openings for most of them. So of course you are welcome as soon as you are able to dive again (hint hint)

*note that we are an all volunteer organization so we do not have people 'on the clock' all the time but our team is so dedicated that they manage to keep an eye out for questions so kudos to you for posting a couple of times as we saw your questions' and were able to get back to you!

 

 

p.s. Trust me there is NOTHING wrong with being a WWW... I am the original one and many said I founded the joint to ensure we had tons of www trips to go on!  lol

Hello Tim, and welcome to SingleDivers.  I found this group about 14 years ago and have been traveling and diving with them since.  At this point, I actually go on almost all of the trips, so I will meet you in Curacao.  Ed

Hello Tim.  I retired years ago due to a back injury.  I decided a couple of years ago that I want to enjoy my life to the fullest so i am doing what I love.....dive travel.  i have done a lot of trips on my own in the past and I find that I enjoy the trip and the people a lot more on the SingleDivers trips, so I now try and make almost every trip the club runs.  One of these days the body will not allow me to travel this much, and then it will be too late so I will take advantage of my ability to travel and dive now.  See you in a couple of weeks.  Ed

Hi Ed, yes I am having back problems as well and will likely have surgery after the Curacao trip, hopefully leaving me in a better place.  I have a similar thought process as you that I want to take advantage of the time I have now to travel and dive as much as possible.   See you soon!

Tim and    to the awesome world of Singlediver.com.   Glad you are getting back into the fun "hobby " that we love.  Kamala and Crew put on fabulous trips to great locations - warm water!!!!  You get to meet lots of fun people and get some super diving in. The Curacao trip wil be a blast, and Diver Ed is not only a great diver, but an amazing photographer!!!
