Right now, if I need it, it would take too long to work.

In that case, you're rushing the foreplay. Slow down.

Hi everyone,

I was channel surfing this weekend and happened to hit a NASCAR race, at the very moment that the blue "Viagra" car was pulling slowly off the track. Seems the car no fuel pressure and wouldn't go anymore.

I could not help but laugh to myself, thinking "the Viagra car has fallen flat" :welcome:

Let's hope none of you boys have "vapor lock" during your moment of truth!! :diver:

With that working, I still don't consider it an emergency if I things don't work out!

I can still dive so everything is cool. :welcome:

Infections
Marine based infection; ciprofloxacin 500-750 mg bid or Bactrim/ septra 1 DS bid
Land based infection; keflex 250-500 mg q 6 hr

Interesting. I was prescribed Keflex for my marine-based infection. It seemed to work just fine.

BTW - Am I supposed to actually "Moderate" here? :tears:

So how many people had withdrawal symptoms over the weekend while the SD.com site what being worked on? I hope you found something constructive to do instead, like paint the house, run a marathon, or go to a crawfish boil (like me).
So, the thread did not go the route of flashlights and 12 volt batteries after all!!
I wonder how many times Viagra has been posted on this board. Is that a reflection of the average age, or average interest, of the members? And hnladue, seeing some of your previous postings, give the new server site a little time to get established before you cause a melt down! :wavey:

On to business.
CuriousMe. Yes Primatene Mist can have bad cardiac side effects, because it is in effect inhaling epinephrine. Bad if you "just" have mild asthma, causing racing heart beat. Good if you are going into anaphylactic shock and don't have injectable epi with needle/ syringe. If you are very susceptible to insect bites (difficulty breathing, flush all over, lightheaded, etc) then I think a primatene inhaler would be good to carry "off site" where access to medical care may be delayed. Besides, the guys in uniform at the airport and customs don't get as bent about an inhaler as they do with needles and syringes without a prescription.

As Diverbrian stated, pick the motionsickness treatment that works best for you. Ginger being one of them.

DL, you are lucky if your arm infection cleared with Keflex. May have been a secondary skin infection that you developed, or the old medical saying "you can take these pills and clear that up in 7 days, or don't take the pills and it will take a whole week to clear up".

Sounds like you prepare like I do......especially out of country trips.........I have enough meds to open a pharmacy and bring surgical instruments and suture. I started out in surgery but needed to sleep sometime so switched into family medicine. I still love to cut and sew (and now staple 'n glue) which I have incorporated into my practice at least by 4 procedures per day.

I can help asthmatic divers enjoy dives through pretreatment and breathing off the tanks on the surface to be sure there aren't any spasm provoking triggers in the tank.

Looking for a dive buddy for Belize, Grand Cayman and Roatan .......getting there via cruise dive tender (I use the cruise lines to get from dive site to dive site.) Any NON smokers interested?

Hi Jeanie,

It great to see you posting! Welcome to our little home! I hope your post an intro in the New to SingleDivers forum, so our members can give you their usual SD.com welcome. They love to welcome new folks.

Since you're semi-local, I hope we get to dive together soon and often.
