Looks like I'll be heading out in an hour or so to explore Lake Denton just outside Avon Park, Florida. I'll be diving with Sharon and (if her sinues have cleared) Divegirlzoe. I'm looking forward to a new (for me) dive site and to seeing my dear friends again.
If anyone can make it, we'll be there about 10 AM.

Well... Did y'all have a good dive? Did Divegirlzoe get to go?

Sharon and I dived alone. Divegirlzoe was there with her two oldest sons. The eldest was finishing his check out dives and the second eldest was getting a refresher. Zoe was still fighting that sinus infection. She's improving, but not ready to dive.
While the kids were working, Sharon and I explored the lake. We had a grand time watching the Bluegill follow us (apparently, people illegally feed the fish) as we found the three ship wrecks (OK, so they are tiny boats and not ships).
Depth: 32 feet for 27 minutes. Viz: 15 feet Sharon tried out an AL 63 and a Scubapro Classic Sport BC. She's a tiny person and shouldn't be using an AL 80, it's too big and heavy for her.
I enjoyed the dive, but Sharon was getting cold, so we cut it short and opted to skip the second dive.
