Hi All,

Well, I did the charity dive yesterday and had even more fun than last year! I saw two people who remembered me from before, so that was nice.

Since I drove up alone, I was teamed up with two other "buddyless" divers to form a team of 3. (Most teams sign up ahead of time and have 6 per team) . But even with only 3 people, my team still managed to assemble our underwater puzzle within the 50-minute time limit. We kicked butt! Thanks to my team-mates Scott and Tom for the good work. (Did I mention they were CUTE??) Tom took some underwater pictures so as soon as he e-mails them I will post them.

The underwater puzzle we did was so cute. It was a cartoon bear dancing on the beach. The puzzles are made of some type of heavy painted tile, and all puzzles are donated by local artists. Each of the 4 puzzles is different, but they all have some water/beach/ocean theme.

The closer we got to completion, the more exciting it became, trying to beat the clock. We started going faster and faster and saying "who-hoo!" and "yeah baby yeah!" into our regulators as each piece fell into place. We all gave each other "high fives" underwater when we got the last piece in. The safety divers were quite entertained by our enthusiam.

As soon as I get my total from the e-donations, I will let you know how much I raised. Again, thank you so much for your generosity.

God bless you
Laura
