I am looking for a dive buddy or a group trip in feb or march...can't take those canadian winters anymore...I have 4 weeks off and would consider any interesting destination Cocos islands, south Pacific Indonesia...
We are very close to booking Palau for March and looking at Tobago for April, Red Sea for May (if our new UK group ramps up which looks very promising) and doing a Singles week in Grenada for June! The calendar is starting to fall into place!
Of course we'll also have some great packages to supplement our group trips too! Been in meetings today working on several cool deals!

Barring that, I'd just love to find a local buddy to go dive with.
HELP!
Thanks!

Woo Hoo some great trips coming up next year!
This is good news on the non-group trips too. Nice perk!

I just joined and will be attending the SD trip to Bonaire in May. I cannot make the BTS show, because I'll be Wakatobi. I had booked this trip for two in October, but the other person has backed out. I am attending the Photo/Video workshops on the Pelagian and in Wakatobi March 28 - April 15 and will be spanding the dive time honing (I hope) my video and photo skills. In the meantime, I have a Pelagian cabin March 28 - April 4, and a Wakatobi bugalow April 4 - 15 to share. Anyone.. .?

I'm mostly just dreaming but have you any takers yet? What's the cost on the trip?
Wakatobi is one of my top 5 dream destinations.

Hi Liz (or anyone else interested), I am keen on going to Little Cayman this March 2009(or April, I am flexible). Have you ever been? I can only go for a week, but the Little Cayman Beach Resort looks good and an ok deal if we split a room. Any interest? Nat
This is what I got from their site:
7 nights accommodations based on double occupancy – Bloody Bay
Escape package - pool view room, round trip airport
transfers, breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, 17 boat dives,
tanks, weights, weight belts, hotel taxes and service
charges is $1795.00 per person. I think that is
almost 3 boat dives a day. Here is their link:
http://www.littlecay...es/specials.php
I might even be more inclined to do the Eagle ray 2 boat dives
per day at $1506, if we can do additional free shore
diving. I see that it is not a cheap trip, and takes a bit of extra travel to get there,
but I suppose that is why it is better than Grand Cayman. I
have to use up a Delta coupon and will be flying from
Boston. I have seen flight pricing from here of $652. Where
are you flying from?

A little info about me: Advanced Open Water (PADI) certified, I have been on hiatus for over 4 yrs., last dive was wreck diving in Bermuda. Trying to get back into the sport, but work/university/location (AZ), has made it difficult to do steady diving. Looking to dive back into it.
