Hi Karen and Welcome!! :)
If you're looking for a cheap dive trip, come join us at Athens Texas for the first annual original singledivers.com dive and camp out. It is May 21-23 and currently we have 40-60 people signed up to be there. We're going to get wet, camp out, drink a little beer, eat a little Texas BBQ, party and have a good time. The park has a Sabre Jet (Corporate commercial jet) on the bottom in about twenty five feet of water, three busses, another single engine aircraft, Clint Eastwood's old three story houseboat, and a manmade cave system to dive on. (And several other attractions to look at). We also have the Bonaire trip coming up in June and others have been posted for later in the year. Come join us and, again, welcome aboard!!

How sweet of you to offer to have me join you for the trip in TX... Sounds like a blast to be had on that one... Unfortunately May is a bit to soon for me with school... I would be looking for something more late June, July or August...
Anyone interesting in pulling something together in the keys around those times let me know... I also hear they have some great diving down in some of the lower keys... I have only been up in Key Largo...
Anyway... I am open to suggestions and very much looking to do some warm water coral reef/some wrecks type diving...

And by the way... You are all soooo GREAT... Thanks for the terrific welcomes that continue to pour in...

Later...
Karen

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Posted Image Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Two things, darlin'. Ocean Fest is before Bonaire. If you do Bonaire first, you miss Ocean Fest.

Don't worry about hanging w/ the big dawgs. You'll be with friends who will be happy to look out for you and help you gain confidence. After 30 or 40 dives in Bonaire, you'll be ready to take on the world.
