Seems like there has been quite an influx of cold water divers to this group lately. May I be so bold as to suggest a get together dive. Come on... Washington, Oregon, Idaho, BC, Vancouver Island.......pick a site...pick a date....lets dive.

Well the PNW has got a lot more color than here in NJ and I've done some California diving but I'm a WWW and the PNW is too cold for my blood. :teeth: :birthday:

Great idea, but a bit heavy on the West Coast slant. ;) How about Colorado, Lake Michigan et al. The CN (central North)

Come on along Colorado... My main Idea was just a day of diving so local folks could get to know each other but the more the merrier.

Is anyone up for Saturday June 18th dive and get together?

We can pick a dive site and then meet after for some food and conversation?
The morning exchange is pretty big but the evening one is much less.
Does a later dive sound good?

GG, that's the day I've been saving since you mentioned it was the only open one for you in June and I know the two of us will show up to dive! :thankyou: I'm still on for heading up and diving that day - later to catch the better exchange is just fine. Any dive site ideas?

Now we need to pick a dive site and contact the rest of the PNW gang.

My work schedule is so spotty that I won't know until a couple of days before hand. Wasn't someone going to do another HH?

I keep telling ya, we only need one BIG sleeping bag.... :lmao:

I'd be happy to crash at yours and do an HH afterwards too. I just have to get back to Vancouver on Sunday in time to teach my 4pm Sundays only OW class.

BrinyBay, hope that answers your question!

Sounding better all the time! :helpsmily:
What do you think GG.... Local sites or something out of the ordinary (not that any place here is ordinary). Sekui Jetty is suppose to be very cool or depending on how many I might be able to scare up a boat for KVI tower. There are however lots of simpler places as you well know.

I have two potential conflicts I've got to cope with - one is my best friend from high school coming to visit at some unknown weekend during the next two months, and the other is a required trip back to Texas over some unknown weekend during the next two months.

So - two weekends are shot for me, but I don't know which two.

Provided I'm around for the weekend in question, I will most certainly be there, and I'm very excited to meet some new dive buddies, and be reunited with some familiar faces as well.

I was hoping you could make it David. You seem like a very popular part of the local diving group.
