Help! Avatar MIA!!!

Ever since yesterday, Walter's avatar no longer appears on my computer at home. Whether it be a post, a PM, or his profile, no avatar!
I thought it might be my login for some reason, but since his happy, smiling face appears on my PC at work, it must be the Mac.
Any thoughts or suggestions???

Ah, Caetllonn, my friend. I *knew* you to be a woman of exceptional tastes! Is there anyone else out there who is on a Mac?

I too am on a Mac... although I'll give it up someday...
when someone pulls it from my cold dead fingers!
However, I have no problem viewing Walter's smiling visage... he shows up for me both in posts and on his profile.
What an odd thing to have happen!

Glad to know it's not only me. Thx, Dennis! This happens periodically, I've noticed it and I do not embrace the demon Mac. It seems to go away on its own. We await illumination, oh Gurus of the Website.
I'll take a wait-and-see approach, but in the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions -- most appreciated!

Annasea, what browser are you using? Have you done the usual of clearing cookies, temp files, etc?

Like those Nicean barks of yore,
That gently, o'er a perfumed sea,
The weary, way-worn diver bore
To his own native shore (or boat).

I'm using Safari, Marvel. Walter was here until yesterday when his name started changing from blue to purple, to sea green, to purple, to blue, . . . well, you get the picture. I assumed it had something to do with that. But as stated earlier, when I'm at work, he's there.Annasea, what browser are you using? Have you done the usual of clearing cookies, temp files, etc?
Normally I wouldn't worry so much about an avatar, but since it's Walter . . .
I must confess ignorance of clearing cookies, temp files, etc.
I'm familiar with the term cookies, but have never done anything with them as far as my computer is concerned -- except eating them too close to the keyboard!
As for temporary files, can you be more specific? My message box needs a-cleanin', but that's it for the board at least. The rest of my computer is spic-n-span.
