I use reef Scuba reels since they are well built, have a drag(dont go there!) and best of all a lifetime guarentee. They have repaired or replaced two reels for me!
When you get the reel I would recomend tieing a bowline in the end about 1' in diameter. This is so you never have to tie the reel off you can just loop it around something and thru the loop.
When you make the loop thread the line thru a large ball from a girls hair tie. You know the kind that come with two 1" balls and are used for pony tails. This keeps you from ever reeling the line all the way in thru the guide.
Best reels I have ever seen are made by Kent Tooling from England. Completly made from 316SS. Its just so hard to get ahold of them.
