:hiya:
Hello everyone.... Jamie and Dr. Bill told me about this site on the Sunday dive at Casino Point in Catalina. Glad to meet you.
I started diving in September 2003 and just now finished the PADI Rescue cert last Sunday.... I've only had 15 dives... so you see they have all been class dives. Only one pleasure dive on the Spectra out of Ventura. Went to Anacapa.... WOW I couldn't believe the seals.... they came right up to me to play and dance.. By the way, most folks tease me about my bright yellow wetsuit, but the seals loved me! They all came over to me... (( probably wondered what the heck I was LOL))
I am the only one in the family that dives, so I'm looking to get some pleasure dives in soon. :cool2: I am (was) buddyless.... Looking forward to exploring with you all and learning how to take underwater pictures.

:thankyou: ~Elaine

:thankyou: Elaine...glad you stopped by and hope that you will call this home. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that are ready and willing to help in anyway, all you have to is ask.

Don't forget to take a look at our website at SingleDivers.com. We are constantly upgrading and would love to see you on one of our upcoming trips.

Again, welcome to our little place on the net where having fun is what it is all about.

I'm so glad you joined us here, Elaine! I really had fun going through the rescue class with you and look forward to diving with you and continuing our friendship in the future. By the way, the underwater housing for my digital camera came today so both of us will now suffer "the curse of the photographer!"

And cool your jets there, Marvel! :thankyou:

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Posted Image Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Trust me, there's no missing Elaine under the water. I think her suit came with a warning label from the Nuclear Regulatory Committee! Sure makes it easy to buddy up with her in a group, though.

Agree Jextract... I think I could have seen Elaine from the dive park if she were diving on the mainland. I wonder how many yellow jackets came over to check her out topside!

Yellow jackets are a form of wasp that can be particularly "aggressive" when you have food or colorful clothes or nicely scented colognes. Sometimes it pays to starve, wear black and let your body odors dominate.

Oops, aren't I in the water yet?
