Hello out there- Just wanted to introduce myself. This looks like a great site and I'm looking forward to joining a group trip sometime soon. Just got back from the Belize Aggressor last week. Howard and Michelle Hall were on the boat filming a documentary on coral reefs. Very interesting to watch and Howard did some behind the scenes commentary on filming of Coral Reef Adventure which is showing in Imax theatres now. A lot of fun and some cool diving.

I try to do at least 2 trips a year, usually a liveaboard- but thinking about checking out the Flower Gardens this July. Any thoughts would be welcome. Denver is just too far from the ocean! :wakawaka:

:wakawaka: to the board nycamico. I to and from CO and leave tomorrow for a week on the T&C Aggressor. I was in Belize back in Feb on the Peter Hughes boat the Sun Dancer II. I agree we are to far from good diving and try to do 3 or 4 trips a year if I can get the time off. You found a great place to off gas and there are few others here from CO as well. But we are outnumbered by the Texans. :taz:

I have heard that Colorado has the largest number of divers per capita of any state. Hard to believe but I do tend to run into CO people all over the place on dive boats. Did Turks Aggressor last October- really great trip but the DMs were a bit disorganized. Have a great time!

Hi-de-ho
Went to Denver last year.... and can totally agree, it's way, way too far from any good diving!

Come on try some refreshing diving... come to the cool fresh water sites just a "wee" bit north

and what wee north is that? I tried a dry suit course but felt like an upside down cork most of the time. I would like to try again, but it is hard to beat the lure of the warm caressing embrace of tropical waters. If I want to play ice cube I can hang in Denver! :wakawaka:

Yeah I know: I've been branded a non-group person - doesn't play well with others. I am so upset. Posted Image Let me know if you want to have some fun, without the drama - I'm good for that.

Hi there nycamico.

Welcome to SD! You don't necessarily need a drysuit to dive here. The St. Lawrence River reaches a balmy 70F or so in the summer!! Shorty time!! :)

Diverlady
FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!! It comes bundled with the software.

What do you mean "it doesn't come in PINK"?!?!
