Hi Folks,

I guess I might be one of the few people to join from this side of the pond (Atlantic)

Yes, we do dive over here too, but with low visability and cold water, it does sort the 'men from the boys' out here. The vast majority of the 320 dives I've done have been in drysuits around the UK, with only the occasional trip to Spain and Greece. I've yet to even visit the States or the West Indies, but I am working on it.

I do some instructing over here, although not on a professional basis.

I look forward to chatting and contributing to this site.

Regards

Iain

Hi Iain,

Welcome to our home!

Yes, we do dive over here too, but with low visability and cold water, it does sort the 'men from the boys' out here.

Careful, one of my buddies is a tiny woman from London and she dives those conditions often. She's also a member of this site, so you're in a heap o' trouble, boy. Luckily for you, she's temporarily in Italy for work.

Come dive with us soon.

Walter

It's about time you joined up here!! Sheesh!! (You tell someone about a great site and then they wait a few months to join up!)
Oh well, better late than never! Glad you finally made it here and I look forward to reading your posts.

Welcome to this wild and crazy site (although it does, sniff, seem to be taming a bit... just a bit).

I dove with several folks from your neck of the woods, but in tropical locations. Glad to have made their acquaintance, and to add you to the list.

Enjoy this site and (most importantly) the divers on it.

I just noticed the "head for Newfoundland and keep finning" part of your thread title! Too funny!! :cool2:

I don't know how many people would want to head to NFLD right now. They were expecting 30cm of snow yesterday on the west coast of the island!! :twist: I'm glad I'm further south but I must admit, I saw a few snowflakes here yesterday!
