Unfortunately, there currently isn't a way to locate divers by area. One way to potentially find divers in an area you are going to is to start a thread in the I'm Headed Your Way forum, or the I Need An SD Dive Buddy for My Trip forum, or, assuming you're diving locally, the Americas forum as BeachBunny and B2B did for their Athens Anyone? thread.

Not sure what the programming skills are, but it is not that hard to do. TSR made a good point though, it would actually be more beneficial if this was able to be done in the same manner, but using zip codes instead.
But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--"WOW--What a ride!"

Using zip codes would only work if this was a US only site. Postal codes from other countries don't work with zip codes (plus they can differ from block to block, at least here in Canada...)Not sure what the programming skills are, but it is not that hard to do. That depends on how flexible the program is.Using zip codes would only work if this was a US only site. Postal codes from other countries don't work with zip codes (plus they can differ from block to block, at least here in Canada...)

It's not that you would 'FIND' persue' zip codes, but location.....
Example: Sort by ascending Zip/Postal Codes....this way if you new the block(area) that you were wanting to see who all was in, you would have it....there for, those in Canada would more than likely want to look up others in THEIR area, unless, they were coming to Houston, then they could look at that block of areas.
It's all about the numbers = vicinity!
