Do you go diving so much your SO is a diving widow or widower? Are you gone every weekend...or on a trip once a month and leave the SO at home? Do you take them with you? If so what do they do to keep themselves occupied?

Not just diving widow, Hockey widow, Basketball widow, Softball widow and pool widow. :marvelcue: So once in a while I have to curb it. We vacation together through the summer so I really strive to dive most weekends thereafter.

Reminds me of one of the songs by Barefoot man...'Who's Sleeping in YOUR Waterbed?' when you leave you wife on all those long dive trips! :2cool:

:teeth: Perhaps why it may take me longer to venture onto one of the live aboards, and why it's on vacations as of now

No, she dives too, she just keeps picking different SD trips than I do... hmmm... maybe there is a pattern here? Think I should take the hint? :banghead:

Okay, just kidding, I promise. However, I still think that maintaining a relationship with a non-diving individual shouldn't be too hard... "Good morning sweetie, I'm going to go dive this morning... do you think you can busy yourself for a few hours on this beautiful tropical island with miles of beach, gallons of tropical concoctions and more shopping locations than any mall on the planet???"

I can hear the song now,

I brought my Wife with me
So we both would be
In a tropical paradise
And maybe go diving with me
Now I'm sucking down Nitrox
Going thru it by the liters
She's back at the resort
Sucking on Peter's . . .
margaritas Down by the cabana
With a hunk named Juan

. . . :banghead:

Or a ballad . . .
Cold winter snow
Made us head down south
Now we're here on the islands
with a hose in our mouth

She won't go diving
And it's getting me vexed
I'm pulling on neoprene
She's slipping on latex.

I try not to date non-divers unless they have a strong interest in the marine world, good business skills or a huge inheritance. It wouldn't be fair to the poor girl to leave her almost daily... especially if that pool boy Juan is anywhere nearby.

If you ask my wife, she will say not often enough. Am I a very lucky guy or what?

Or ask her how many times I babysat the kids while she was off all summer playing softball at tournaments.

Ps. she booked Jamaica with all inclusive diving, just give her a hot sandy beach and a good book.
