Thanks for the generous comments everyone and keep them coming. Don't forget the "dont's" though. Let me know also the things you did not like or think could be better. If I'm to be responsible for the next Central Texas get together I want it to be expodentially better each time to the point of euphoria! :lmao:

Oh and Barry, Sherry's husband is Danny. He is a great guy and I know from experience that names are tough in a group, but she's pretty great too! Thanks to the both of them for attending our little outing and for making it better than it would've been without them. Single or not, you guys are welcome at anything I put together!!!

Thanks again to everyone who made it!

Adios for now,
Hawkeye1251

P.S. Barry, I also wanted to extend a special thankyou to you for making the long drive down, from all of us. I will ditto what Ray said as well, thanks for bringing your boat and the firewood. Next time I insist on letting some of us chip in on some boat fuel or something. Thanks again, you too are always welcome at anything I organize, as are the rest of you, I had a great time!!! :o :P

Names? nobody said we would be tested on the names. Now all we have to wait for is the video, I'm sure its being edited as we type, release forms on the way.
I was just glad to have the chance to get away from work for a little bit meet some new dive buddies and spend time with some old ones (as in some that I have meet before, not in over the hill :birthday: ). Maybe next time we can say what type of cook out food people are going to bring, whos going to bring what and have a community kitchen. I know I brought more food then I needed, but donated some for the breakfast which Ray cooked up. by the way it was very good. As far as the firewood its not a camp out less there is a camp fire to gather around. I enjoyed bringing the boat I love getting it out on the water and some did pitch in on the fuel which made me feel a little bad cause we didn't use it that much.
Cant wait till spring so we can all get together again.

I wanted to say thank you to all, I had a great time this weekend. Danny and Sherri told me that had a lot of fun and enjoyed themselves. There was so many posiitives on this trip. I liked the camping accomodations . Next time we need to bring a boom box, a trash can and a garden hose to stillhouse. It was nice talking with everyone. I learn quite afew things with the group so that is always cool. I wanted to say special thanks to barry for bringing his boat out. We enjoyed the boat ride. I am afraid to tell anyone not too bring food, we will be starving next time.I just did not see any don't s for this trip. The lake was a fresh new canvas that we had access to. I saw some nice fish and the wall dives were pretty good.

Thanks for setting this up Glen, I greatly appreciate it.

This was fun! I wish we could have stayed longer...but we had a blast for all the time we were there! :2cool:

Not used to doing lake or quarry diving from a boat...but hey there is a first for everything!

Wish it was a bit closer...but hey...as long as we didn't get a ticket! :2cool:

And it was great to meet so many new folks...and of course see all our old friends too!

Okay, a video has been hastily put together and is now uploaded at this spot on the Internet,

I might have to find a new place to upload these things; the current host seems to always truncate about 8 seconds off the end of the mpeg, so I always lose a bit off the end.
