I check it, and haven't had any problems with it. ( I do take out my reg and comp)Do you check it or take it on board with you?If any one is considering buying one - I will testify. I own one and love it. It fits all my gear and I just wear it like a backpack, leaving both hands free to drag my suitcase and take care of airport matters.

Cool...and they are great to put in your suitcase and then use as a boat bag! They even have a built in dry bag...its not perfect but it works pretty good!

Got my and the rest of my order, back in April, but my daughter, Texas Aggie Diver has yet to receive her order [mesh bag & luggage tags], sent with mine on a separate order form. It appears you had to back order some additional bags. Let me know if I need to provide a copy of the order, I hope it's under one these piles on my desk.

I can vouch that these are great bags! I use one (from SD) and find it stands up to the rigours of (puddlejumper) air travel very well.
