Hello gang-

I've been out of commission for a while. I was admitted to the ER not long ago for catching various stomach viruses and for appendicitis (apparently it started on my trip back from Fiji). I've been in the hospital for a while and recently had surgery. I'm now at home and almost back to normal.

I'll try to post some photos this weekend (assuming that I'm not swamped with trying to catch up on work).

Everyone's photos look great!

I had a wonderful time and look forward to more SD trips with the gang.

Thanks for your email Kamala...it made me feel tons better and even made me smile...while I was drugged up on pain medicine :-)

We should plan a trip to Australia for 2006.

Vanessa welcome back from the uh.. hospitol.. recovery... glad to hear your up and in getting around and ready for more... I did recieve your pictures you sent me... and even used one for my picture in my thread... Thanks...

Mandi... I got the DVD and nothing is corrupted in this version.... Thanks... Thanks.... Thanks... I enjoyed making that trip back to FIJI with you and all of the others as I viewed the photos today... Allot of great pictures...

Got the new DVD also and it's 100% a-ok. I've copied, perused, edited and sorted through the first round of pics. Hpefully by Xmas I'll have sets online for viewing and a set printed out that is small enough for the family to put up with. hehe

Hey Folks,

I know some of you have been waiting for me to finish my video. I have good news and well not so good news. Good news first. The video is complete. The bad news is, I am not happy with the quality of the compression on the DVD and its delivering a video quality that I just don't think is nice. Since I know some of you would like to have the video, I would like to offer it on VHS, the quality on the tape is excellent because it is not compressed at all. In the mean time I will be working on getting it on to a DVD, possibly a double layer dvd which allows for more space.

If you are interested in a tape please let let me know. If you prefer to wait to see if I can get it on DVD at a better quality there is no need to email me and I'll post here when I can figure it out. I have a call into a couple of people asking for some help. I just don't have the tools of a major motion picture studio and the video is 1.5 hrs right now...

Anyhow I know some of you were looking forward to it, so here is a way that I can get it to you quickly.

Ok, it's taken quite a while with Xmas and some other things going on. I've taken the disk Mandi sent out and slowly edited it down to about 300 pictures. I now have it posted on my picture site in three galleries and wanted to share it with any and everyone.

I am in total whine mode now.....................WHERE IS THE FIJI DVD??? I don't care which one I can get - Larry's or Ari's - I want them both - but can't seem to get my little hands on either!!!! Seems like Ari's made it's debut at a Dallas happy hour last night................................(whine mode off)
