Why has a broadcast email not been sent advising the membership of what is happening? Currently everyone is in the dark and wondering what's going on.

This a question validly asked by MANY....

Norm

Unfortunately, when the site went down, it took down email and the database too

this was something that was discussed, however, the email server wouldn't run long enough to send out the blast

I bet I'm seeing a backup e-mail list in the future. Just call me Carnac the Magnificent.

the problem wasn't that we didn't have an email list, the problem was that the emailer was down

or that you relied on only one e-mailer . . .

I like the red arrow that now appears in quotes. It takes you back to the original post the quote was pulled from. (An especially handy feature if the original quote was from another page.)

Note: I'd insert the *cool, thumbs up* smilie, but it's missing, unfortunately. :-(

Before the problems the Scuba Toys Ad made it hard to see the icons for the gallery, calendar, etc. as someone mentioned earlier. Now, neither the ad nor the gallery, calendar features are there.

Can't find anywhere set up for members to report problems. I only managed to log on successfully yesterday, and I'm still finding that I'm logged off each time I exit. I am of course selecting the right options.

You have to re-bookmark your page after you log in. Your previous bookmark from before the break down won't work for staying logged in.

I think the board's present state is not the permanent one. If you look at the URL above, it's www.tollysworld.com/sdtest... I'm reckoning there's still some work to be done (like adding in the smilies (:P), the SD logo, etc., and other things we cannot even see on the board).

Regardless, thank you, Tolly!!! :)

P.S. Thank you so much for all the fabulous new colours! 10 shades of purple... I'm in heaven!! :)

I can't find where this is mentioned anywhere else, but the gallery link is missing. I am sure all of the issues will get solved eventually.
