I second Sonny's idea - every one kick in a Fin! It's for a good cause, I know what it's like to be poor on Christmas morning. All the other kids were getting new bikes and skates etc. My brother and I had to share an old, broken down bike that Mom got from Goodwill. We had to share it because it only had a back wheel. To ride it, one of us would get on the seat and start pedaling, while the other one held up the front and started running. We would change places for the ride back. But I digress, the toy drive is a good cause, and you could win some neat-o prizes in the raffle - so Kick in a Fin!

And in many cases Toys for the Children are really giving school supplies as well as simple clothes such as socks and jackets AND toys! They truly do a wonderful job!

And I am overwhelmed with the generosity of this group! You far exceed my greatest hopes and dreams everytime you show up for a dive trip with TONS of school supplies or you double or even triple our committment to an organization such as Toys for the Children.

I hope they spread the wealth. It would suck to see you friend unwrap a model car, then unwrap your pair of socks. You would have to smile, and thank everybody and pretend you like them, but inside you're going; socks, goodie, just what I wrote in my Christmas list . . . couldn't get a toy Nooooo that would be too much to ask.
