People are starting to set up the dives for this now. I have never seen one in Floridian waters. However, I hear that the interactions are farther north, around Jupiter, compared to where I live, in Miami Beach.

I don't understand your statement, you've "never seen one in Florida waters"???

If I remember correctly, last year was a record year, no? I thought they were mostly in the warmer Miami waters, I thought Jupiter was too far north for them last year?

The only person I know that went to do the dives with the sharks went farther north than Miami. I think it was either somewhere in Palm Beach County or toward Jupiter.

While I go up that far on occasion, I most often dive in either Broward or Miami-Dade County. I actively dove all through the season last year (in Miami-Dade and Broward). I never saw one.

In fact, in all the years I have lived here, I have never once seen one though I have seen other sharks. This is why I figured that they are farther north.

Diver2Diver always has a group looking for lemon sharks and they always go out of Jupiter and I think it's next week.
Correction, they are diving this weekend and Jupiter Dive Center reports the Lemon sharks have arrived
