I was running Firefox 1.0.6 'till just recently, and I'm running 1.5 now after an upgrade. I haven't seen the issue. Also haven't seen it with Opera 6.x or IE 6.0.2800, so it's either a setting on your end, or something eating the cookies. Naughty cookie monster! Leave 'em alone!

Since the board is spread across both www.tollysworld.com and sdtest.tollysworld.com, if you have it set to only accept cookies for the originating website, then that could cause the error. That's a scientific wild-assed guess, but it'd explain the problem. In the [Tools] [Options] [Cookies], make sure you're allowing cookies, and then in the [EXCEPTIONS] put www.singledivers.com as ALLOWED (always allow cookies from this site). That should fix it. I haven't noticed any other domain names here.

I'm also running pop-up blockers and junk filters to eliminate tracking cookies and banner ads, which I'd expect to give me the same grief you're getting, but it's fine for me. The board never logs me out 'till I close my browser (which flushes all cookies, the way I have it set).

I'm having the same issues with IE6 both at work and at home, it usually remembers me but sometimes not, it must be a female server :lmao:

Upgrade to Firefox 1.5.0.1. That is most likely not the cause of the problem you are experiencing, but there are some pretty serious security bugs is some of the older versions of Firefox.

A base install of Firefox (regardless of version) should remember your password once you check the box and confirm with your browser that you do indeed wish to remember the password.

If the problem occurs with other sites (not just SD) then you may have a wayward privacy setting that is causing Firefox to not remember the password or as Desert Diver mentioned, delete your cookies after you close your browser.
